New York Red Bulls have announced that striker Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting, Serge Ngoma, Julian Hall and Aiden Stokes will join their respective national teams for next week’s international break. New York has a long history of helping players reach the heights of international football with more players this year making their moves to solidify positions.
For Choupo-Moting, it is a return to the Cameroonian national team. The 36 year-old striker is no strangers to African football as he has made 73 appearances for Cameroon while scoring 20 goals. He’ll try to help his nation as they play two World Cup qualifiers against Eswatini and Cape Verde in group D of the CAF qualifying round.
Julian Hall, Serge Ngoma and Aiden Stokes will join their respective USA youth national teams. For Hall and Stokes, they will join the U-17 USMNT as they prepare for friendlies in the next week. The same goes for Ngoma who joins the U-20 USMNT as they play Morocco.
