2025 MLS Next Pro champions New York Red Bulls II made their end-of-season roster decisions ahead of the new year. The club declined the option of two players while an additional five players found themselves out of contract.
Returning players will include Nathan Worth who had his contract option picked up. Aimar Modelo and Mijahir Jimenez will have their loans extended through the end of the 2026 campaign. Tobias Szewczyk will also be joining the first team as a homegrown player but is expected to play with the reserve team next season. Ibrahim Kasule, Steven Sserwadda and Matthew dos Santos remain under contract for next year.
Austin Causey, Caio Ramalho, Jair Collahuazo, Dylan Sullivan and Malick Dembele are out of contract. Causey is negotiating with the club for a return. Nehuen Benedetti’s loan has ended and the team is currently negotiating with him on his future.
