Red Bull New York announced the transfer of defender Noah Eile to Bristol City in the English Championship. The move will see Red Bull receive almost $5 million in compensation for the move.
Eile, a Swedish international, joined the MLS club in 2024 and quickly became a big part of the club’s MLS Cup Final run. He took a bigger step forward in 2025 when he made 29 starts as a key role in the club’s defense. Prior to joining the Red Bull, Eile played with Malmo in Sweden early in his career before playing most of his games on loan with Mjallby.
“Noah has been a true professional and a great presence within our group,” said Head of Sport Julian de Guzman. “As he moves on to the next step in his career, we wish him continued growth and success.”
Bristol City currently sits in ninth place in the EFL Championship, but are just four points out of a coveted playoff spot for a chance to play in the Premier League. Joining such a club like Bristol presents an opportunity to not only return to Europe but also come within steps of one of the biggest leagues in the world.
