New York Red Bulls and New York City FC will once again head out west for the Coachella Valley Invitational in February of 2025. The event includes MLS and NWSL teams once again with each team getting three games over the week-long preseason event.
“The Coachella Valley Invitational has become a premier preseason event in global soccer,” said MLS Commissioner Don Garber. “With state-of-the-art facilities, professional organization and a unique environment, Coachella provides MLS clubs with a terrific opportunity to prepare for the 2025 upcoming season.”
Along with both metro-area teams, MLS representation will include Austin FC, Charlotte FC, Chicago Fire, LA Galaxy, LAFC, Minnesota United, Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake, San Diego FC, St. Louis City FC, Sporting KC and San Jose Earthquakes. Each team will play four games from February 5th to the 22nd.

The tournament will finish with a series of games featuring NWSL teams including: Angel City FC, Portland Thorns, Bay City FC, Houston Dash, San Diego Reign and the Seattle Reign.
